Differences in Kansas and Missouri Law

Kansas and Missouri require people to include an uninsured motorist insurance (UM/UIM) provision with their auto insurance. Kansas is a no-fault accident state, requiring drivers to also carry personal injury protection (PIP) coverage with their auto policies. If you have these options, we can make a claim with your insurance if you are in an accident with an uninsured or underinsured motorist.

In Missouri, you are allowed to stack UM/UIM policies. If you have uninsured motorist coverage, you may be able to receive more compensation by making claims under each policy you have. To pursue this type of claim, you will need an experienced attorney.
